Clever Kids Create Colourful Clocks!
Have you ever wondered how to make a clock?
Well, take a look at these photos. Firstly, we learnt all about the history of clocks and how people used to tell the time before clocks were invented. We took clocks apart and looked at their mechanisms. The design and planning stage was really important. This guided us in the 'making' part of the process. But some of our finished clocks did not look like our original plans, so we reflected on the changes we had made.
Have a look at these clocks and tell us what you think.
(Incase you are wondering.........some of our photos were taken on our mufti day. We came dressed as something starting with P)
What would you come as?

OUR VEGE GARDEN PROJECT
last Tuesday our school Enviro group visited Kings Plant Barn. We are taking place in the 'vege garden for schools' project. This means that we have our own vege garden at Kings. We planted our veges last week - a mixture of brocoli, strawberries and a beanstalk smack bang in the middle of our garden! We didn't plant cabbage because none of use like cabbage very much. Do you have a vege garden? what are your favourite types of veges? Watch this space for more enviro news. S.M & B.T

Wonderful Wearable Arts
Last week a group of us went to the Uxbridge art gallery to have a look at the exhibition of wearable arts. Intermediate and colleges entered in to this competition. There were some very interesting costumes, all made out of recycled materials like CD's, lollie wrappers and newspaper. We thought the most interesting one was the one made out of lotto tickets.
